High Speed Digitizer
Als Digitizer bezeichnet man in der Regel analoge Messwerterfassungskarten oder -geräte die über eine begrenzte Anzahl synchron abgetasteter analoger Eingangskanäle verfügen. Meist zeichnen sich die Geräte durch eine höhere Abtastrate und analoge Bandbreite verglichen mit Standard Analog-Eingangs- bzw. Multifunktionskarten aus. Sie gehören damit eher in den High-Speed / High Performance Bereich der Messwerterfassung und werden in vielen Spezialgebieten als analoges Front-End eingesetzt, z.B. Mikrowellentechnik, Laser, Ultraschall, Hochenergiephysik, Wehrtechnik etc.
